Inspire Students Through JA Finance Park® Virtual

Students are exposed to various concepts that they will see in real life, such as monthly expenses, insurance, loans, and most importantly, an introduction to the world of budgeting. With the help of local businesses, this curriculum and simulation for students serves as a reflection of our community.

JA Finance Park® Virtual helps students build a foundation upon which they can make intelligent financial decisions that last a lifetime, including decisions related to income, expenses, savings, credit and more. The program comprises several teacher-led, in-class lessons and culminates in a hands-on, online budgeting simulation that is supported by volunteers. The JA Finance Park® Virtual simulation offers two implementation options: “Entry Level” geared toward middle school and an “Advanced” version that is geared toward high school age students.

Special thanks to Ameren Illinois, CEFCU, Eureka College, and the Peoria County Regional Office of Education for helping support this invaluable experience for central Illinois students. JA Finance Park® is recognized as providing 21st Century education to students by Harvard Graduate School of Education.
